

This publication examines Islamic economics from philosophical, theological, and empirical perspectives, covering the role of maqashid syariah, the halal industry, community empowerment, Islamic boarding school entrepreneurship, the authority of religious courts, halal tourism, and the challenges of Islamic banking. In addition, this publication also provides insights into the relationship between economics, law, and society in the context of Islam. This edition also features contributions from international authors, including scholars from Nigeria, India, Japan, and Pakistan.


This journal is published by LPPPM STAI Darul Hikmah Bangkalan. Journal published twice a year, every March and September. This journal contains conceptual writings or the results of research on Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies is the development and elaboration of three topics, namely philosophical, sociological and historical approaches with more emphasis on aspects of its application, which include: Islamic Education, Islamic Law and Politics, Islamic economics and Business, Qur'anic and Hadith Studies, Islamic Philosophy, Islamic Thought and Literature, Islamic Social and Culture, Science and Civilization in Islam, Islam and gender.
