This journal is committed to upholding academic integrity and ensuring that all authors comply with international standards of scientific publication ethics, particularly regarding plagiarism issues.
Plagiarism occurs when an author takes ideas, data, information, or words from another source without giving proper acknowledgment or citation to the original source. Whether done intentionally or unintentionally, such actions are considered a serious violation of academic ethics and are unacceptable in scientific publications.
If an author uses ideas from another writer, proper citation must still be provided, even if the author has further developed or modified the idea. These ideas may include ways of interpreting data, methodological approaches, research conclusions, or broader conceptual frameworks within a field of study. In such cases, the author must cite the original source of the idea and may then elaborate on its further development in the subsequent sentences or paragraphs.
If an author uses words or sentences directly from another source, quotation marks must be used and the citation must be provided accurately. Whenever four or more consecutive words are identical to the original source, quotation marks must be used to indicate a direct quotation. Simply including the reference without quotation marks is not considered sufficient.
Iqthishodi: Journal of Islamic Economics, Law and Business highly upholds honesty and scientific integrity. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject any manuscript proven to violate these provisions or fail to comply with applicable publication ethics standards.
