Plagiarism Screening

Manuscripts submitted to Edu-Sufia: Journal of Transformative Islamic Education will be checked for originality and to avoid plagiarism using plagiarism detection software such as Turnitin. Edu-Sufia: Journal of Transformative Islamic Education reserves the right to reject manuscripts that are suspected of containing elements of plagiarism.

This journal is committed to upholding academic integrity and ensuring that all authors comply with international scientific publication ethics standards, particularly regarding plagiarism.

Plagiarism occurs when an author takes ideas, data, information, or words from another source without giving proper acknowledgement or citation to that source. This act, whether intentional or unintentional, is considered a serious violation of academic ethics and is unacceptable in scientific publications.

If the author uses ideas from other authors, citations must still be provided, even if the author has further developed or modified those ideas. The ideas in question may include ways of interpreting data, methodological approaches, research conclusions, or broader conceptual concepts in a field of study. In this case, the author must cite the original source of the idea and then describe its development in the following sentence or paragraph.

If the author uses words or sentences directly from another source, quotation marks must be used and the citation must be included correctly. Whenever four or more consecutive words are identical to the original source, quotation marks must be used to indicate a direct quotation. Simply including a reference without quotation marks is not considered sufficient.

Edu-Sufia: Journal of Transformative Islamic Education highly values honesty and scientific integrity. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that are proven to violate these provisions or do not comply with applicable publication ethics standards.
