Several potential natural hazards in this area include landslides, floods, and earthquakes, with landslides being the most dominant, especially during the rainy season. To enhance community awareness of disaster mitigation, particularly regarding its impact on road infrastructure, a socialization program was conducted on July 19, 2025. The activity was attended by 25 participants from the local youth organization (Karang Taruna) and featured two speakers from the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) and University of Mataram. The topics presented covered the potential disasters in Santong, evacuation route mapping, and disaster mitigation strategies related to road infrastructure. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test showed a 20% increase in participants’ understanding. The success of this activity indicates that disaster mitigation education should be conducted continuously, especially since landslides remain the main threat to road infrastructure in Santong Village.
2025-12-23T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 I Dewa Made Alit Karyawan https://jurnal.staidhi.com/index.php/dharma/article/view/513 Edukasi dan Implementasi Lubang Resapan Biopori untuk Mitigasi Banjir dan Pengelolaan Sampah Organik 2025-10-04T01:59:20+00:00 Andi Saputra Akhmad patih.aas.25@gmail.com Ikhtisholiyah Ikhtisholiyah ikhtisholiyah@gmail.com Hasti Suprihatin hasti.suprihatin007@gmail.com Nazilatus Sa’idah nazilasaidah@gmail.com Muhammad Dias Echa Mantovani ecamantofani@gmail.com
Iker-iker Geger Village is a village located in Cerme District, Gresik Regency. that often experiences seasonal flooding due to rainwater runoff that cannot be absorbed optimally by the soil, especially during high rainfall in the rainy season. The flat topography, clay soil type, and suboptimal drainage system exacerbate this condition. In addition, household organic waste management in the village is still limited, with most waste being burnt or dumped into waterways, contributing to drainage blockages and environmental pollution. These problems require a simple yet impactful approach, one of which is through the application of biopore infiltration pit technology that has proven effective in increasing groundwater absorption, reducing the volume of surface runoff, as well as processing organic waste into compost that is beneficial for local agriculture. This community service program aims to provide education and direct assistance to the people of Iker-Iker Geger Village in making and utilizing biopores as a sustainable environmental solution. This activity involves elements of the community, village officials, and students, with a participatory approach that is expected to increase environmental awareness and encourage village independence in overcoming the problems of inundation and organic waste. Through this program, the community not only gained technical skills but also instilled a spirit of mutual cooperation in protecting the environment, in line with the principles of sustainable development and local wisdom.
2025-12-23T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Andi Saputra Akhmad, Ikhtisholiyah Ikhtisholiyah, Hasti Suprihatin, Nazilatus Sa’idah, Muhammad Dias Echa Mantovani https://jurnal.staidhi.com/index.php/dharma/article/view/533 Pendampingan Dosen Pemula melalui Integrasi Artificial Intelligence dalam Program PKDP untuk Peningkatan Keterampilan Penulisan Ilmiah 2025-10-23T06:55:37+00:00 Muhammad Royhan Assaiq royhanmuhammad2001@gmail.com Hanin Yumna haninyumna.hwiq@gmail.com Siti Muna Hayati siti.hayati@uin-suka.ac.id Mohammad Cholil Alwi cholilalwi225@gmail.com Lilik Agus Saputro lilikagus43@gmail.com
Scientific publications are an essential pillar in the development of novice lecturers' careers and institutional reputation, but are often hampered by technical obstacles and limited mastery of academic rules. To address this challenge, the 2025 Beginner Lecturer Competency Improvement Programme (PKDP) introduces innovation by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the Article Writing module. This study aims to analyse the implementation and impact of AI integration, focusing on two aspects: the strategy of its use to improve writing efficiency and the application of ethical principles to maintain academic integrity. It uses a qualitative approach through module content analysis, literature study, and semi-structured interviews with participants and facilitators. The study found that AI served as a co-author assistant in literature search, outlining, and language refinement. The application of the Dialogical Iterative Technique (DIT) was shown to reduce participants' cognitive load, allowing them to focus more on analysing and formulating original ideas. Despite increasing efficiency and confidence, the utilisation of AI also poses ethical challenges such as the risk of plagiarism, data fabrication, and over-reliance. This research recommends three ethical principles in the use of AI: challenge of use, validation of results, and commitment to originality. Thus, AI can be optimised as a productivity-enhancing tool without compromising scientific integrity
2025-12-23T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Muhammad Royhan Assaiq, Hanin Yumna, Siti Muna Hayati, Mohammad Cholil Alwi, Lilik Agus Saputro https://jurnal.staidhi.com/index.php/dharma/article/view/537 Pemberdayaan Bumdes dalam Pengadaan Alsintan untuk Meningkatkan Perekonomian Petani Desa 2025-11-11T01:48:11+00:00 Ulya Dharodjah dharojah@darul-hikmah.com Zainul Arif arif@darul-hikmah.com Jamaluddin Akbar jamaluddinakbar@darul-hikmah.com Khadimul Wahib mwahd@darul-hikmah.com Angga Adigara angga@darul-hikmah.com
Agriculture is an important sector in rural areas. However, in Karang Duwak Village, Arosbaya District, farmers still use conventional methods in the agricultural process. This results in high production costs because farming businesses mostly use farm labor, which then leads to a decrease in farmers' income. Therefore, modernization in the agricultural sector is needed to increase agricultural productivity and efficiency, involving BUMDes as a driving force in strengthening the village's potential. This research was conducted using qualitative methods through observation and interviews to obtain concrete data on the agricultural conditions in the village. Then, community service activities were carried out through the empowerment of BUMDes Karang Duwak Village in the procurement of agricultural machinery for farmers. The results of the activities showed that after using agricultural machinery, the production costs of farming businesses were reduced, the time required for the agricultural process became faster, and farmers' income increased. Farmers can increase their agricultural business capital from the profits obtained and purchase better quality rice seeds. With greater capital and better seeds, the quality of agricultural products will also improve. A good harvest will increase farmers' income and improve the economy of the village farmers. BUMDes, together with village officials and the community, worked together in the procurement and supervision of agricultural machinery use, and were responsible for maintaining the agricultural machinery so that it could be used to develop agriculture in a sustainable manner.
2025-12-23T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Ulya Dharodjah, Zainul Arif, Jamaluddin Akbar, Khadimul Wahib, Angga Adigara https://jurnal.staidhi.com/index.php/dharma/article/view/514 Inovasi Pengolahan Kripik Biji Durian sebagai Produk Bernilai Tambah 2025-10-14T14:07:14+00:00 Humaidi humaidi@iaisyaichona.ac.id Abd. Until now, this waste has only been discarded, potentially causing environmental problems. This community service activity aims to address this problem by developing durian seed chips as a value-added food innovation, which also creates micro-business opportunities based in the village. The methods used in this activity include situation analysis, technical training in chip processing, business management assistance, and marketing. Evaluation is carried out through consumer response testing using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Product responsiveness testing was conducted on 42 respondents from the surrounding community (after the production process). The test results showed that most respondents (80%) liked the durian seed chips. The main reasons for liking them were their savory taste and crunchy texture, although the distinctive aroma of durian was considered less prominent. A comparison between the pre-test (before trying) and post-test (after trying) of the product showed a significant increase in interest in trying the product (from 55% to 85%), taste assessment (from 50% to 80%), texture appreciation (from 48% to 75%), and suitability as a marketable product (from 45% to 70%). The initial market test also received positive responses and enthusiasm from the community. The contributions of this activity include product innovation, improvement of community skills, additional income opportunities, and support for environmental preservation. Thus, durian seed chips have the potential to become a sustainable regional specialty product with promising market prospects
2025-12-23T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Humaidi, Abd.
